Glass Animals Interview w/ Tidal

In researching this week’s newsletter I learned some crazy things about one of my favorite bands: Glass Animals.

For example, Dave used to work in a sausage factory and would “cook them for rich people on Sundays.” His biggest gets: Ewan McGregor and Alan Rickman.

I learned that Cane Shuga, “the story it was taken from, vaguely, was about a guy who tried to give himself blowjobs every day, but couldn’t. Very sad.”

They get into the distinction between technically and emotionally challenging aspects of songwriting, how even they can’t describe their sound, and the time someone tried to gift them a puppy after a show.

These are some far out guys (the phrase “convention of vegans” is used), definitely worth checking out the whole interview.
