Self-Curated Top 10 from 2018
Every December, Spotify releases a personalized playlist of your top 100 songs from the year. This gets a ton of play for a few weeks and then, like all trends do, it burns out.
But why? These were my favorite songs a year ago, why does this playlist not feature more prominently in the rotation?
Well, this week it did. I went ahead and pulled out what I consider the top 10 from all 1,100+ hrs of Spotify in 2018 (in no particular order):
