DJ BSlice (vinyl edition)

In our streaming world, it’s easy to forget that playlists are a fairly new thing relative to how people have listened to music for decades. Mixing and matching tracks from different artists, albums, and genres is something I know I take for granted.

For our trip to the Bay this weekend, I loaded up my suitcase turntable and a backpack full of vinyl. By the end of the weekend we’d spun a pretty diverse collection of records:

  • String Cheese Incident – Believe
  • Matt and Kim – Lightning
  • AJR – Neotheater
  • Taylor Swift – Red
  • Phoenix – Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix
  • SunSquabi – Instinct
  • Glass Animals – How To Be A Human Being
  • Foreign Family Collective – Volume 1
  • The Mowgli’s – Kids In Love
  • Jimmy Buffett – Songs You Know By Heart
  • ODESZA – A Moment Apart
  • Tame Impala – Currents
  • Sofi Tukker – Treehouse
