All My Friends Are Watching
21 tracks on the Better Spins playlist this week. Some highlights
- Madeon – All My Friends. I cannot tell you much I’ve been longing for new Madeon in my life. With Second Sky only 2 weeks away, I expect we’ll be the first to hear Hugo’s new sound. Can. Not. WAIT!
- Wafia – I’m Good. Brooding electronic-pop with a soulful delivery. Netherlands-born, Australia-based producer of Arab descent who started writing music during study breaks while in pre-med. Cool.
- Sofi Tukker, Bomba Estéreo – Playa Grande. Appropriately high praise from @andypantspants.

- SLANDER, Said the Sky – Potions. These two have been making waves for a long time now, love seeing both unique styles coming through in unique ways.
- Toro y Moi – Laws of the Universe. Super funky.
- Russ Liquid – Opus One. Glitchy ambient, killer for background tunes at work.
- LunchMoney Lewis, Aminé – It’s Gonna Be a Lovely Day. This dude is just jolly af.
Honorable Mentions
- Flux Pavilion, CRaymak – Saviour. I’m gettin’ old, kids. Was super bummed to miss FP @ Echo this weekend but once the sweatpants went on and Netflix booted up…I was a goner.
- Linkin Park – Cure for the Itch. With all of their rock hits, I sometimes forget Joe Hahn is a pretty badass DJ (who btw hinted a few weeks ago that there may be new Linkin Park music on the horizon…)
- Ed Sheeran (ft. Chance the Rapper) – Cross Me. Both of these guys have a very unique flow, cool seeing them team up for a track.
