DJ BSlice (vinyl edition)
In our streaming world, it’s easy to forget that playlists are a fairly new thing relative to how people have listened to music for decades. Mixing and matching tracks from different artists, albums, and genres is something I know I take for granted.
For our trip to the Bay this weekend, I loaded up my suitcase turntable and a backpack full of vinyl. By the end of the weekend we’d spun a pretty diverse collection of records:
- String Cheese Incident – Believe
- Matt and Kim – Lightning
- AJR – Neotheater
- Taylor Swift – Red
- Phoenix – Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix
- SunSquabi – Instinct
- Glass Animals – How To Be A Human Being
- Foreign Family Collective – Volume 1
- The Mowgli’s – Kids In Love
- Jimmy Buffett – Songs You Know By Heart
- ODESZA – A Moment Apart
- Tame Impala – Currents
- Sofi Tukker – Treehouse
