Every once in a while, I’ll be cruising through a new playlist and a particular artist jumps out at me. This past week, that group was FLOYD WONDER.

Had a really hard time trying to describe this vibe. billionaire has a big percussion feel a la ODESZA, sitting down is stupid goes happy house, and french toast brings vocal duality that I’ve only ever heard on Sofi Tukker.

Speaking of Sofi Tukker, FLOYD WONDER has also officially knocked them out of the pole position for weirdest self-branded genre: brunchcore (gg jungle pop).
