Hey Google, Play Me Something Good

As Colin and Anne left for the grocery store, I asked Karen (our Google Home Assistant) to “play me something good.” I’d have the house to myself and a list of chores, just needed the right playlist to set the mood.

Karen comes out strong with Leon Bridges Forgive You and then dove deep into 60s-style soul music. Turned a corner into some dope brass tunes from The Haggis Horns and then made it’s way back to St. Paul & The Broken Bones.

If I’m resigning to the rise of the Google machine, at least I know it’s got good taste.
