Maddy O’Neal & SoDown @ Milkboy Philly

I’ve seen some pretty epic shows this year, from A$AP burning down The Anthem to Flume raising Red Rocks. Last Thursday I finally got to check out Milkboy in Philly, a glorified coffee shop with a capacity of maybe 100 people.

I still had as much fun as I’ve had all year dancing with this group of weirdos.

I met Peter, who was actually at the same GRiZ show in DC the week before as well as some of my other all-timers including Gambino @ Firefly and Glass Animals @ 9:30 Club.

I met Steve, who brought his 19yo to Bonnaroo for the first time this year. I hung out with Liz, who was at the same SoDown set at Forest back in 2018. I even talked to a guy rocking Birkenstocks & socks (I didn’t learn his name, for obvious reasons).

Maddy O’Neal absolutely crushed it as the opener, so this week’s vibe is brought to you courtesy of her Mad Feels playlist.
