Lizzo – Tempo (ft. Missy Elliott). Haven’t personally been as swept up in Lizzomania but this track bumps. Plus, I’d listen to Missy read me the phonebook if she rolls her Rs the way she does here.

Kodaline – All I Want. Imagine yourself hiking on a lake at sunrise. Now, keep your eyes closed and play this track. You’re welcome.
Said the Sky, Yuppycult – Just Us. A personal favorite of Colin and mine. It’s been a year since Trevor dropped Wide-Eyed and we know he’s been in the studio recording new music, can’t wait to see what he turns out.
Amon Amarth – The Hero. You ever get to where you’re driving but stay in your car to finish headbanging to some heavy rock? You ever have someone watch you thrash in the airport parking garage and ask what you’re listening to? And then write about it in his newsletter for dozens to read?
RÜFÜS DU SOL – Eyes. When I thought their set at the Anthem was everything I expected it to be, they hit me with a curveball. The dark energy on this track blended really well with their super heady visuals.

Everclear – Volvo Driving Soccer Mom. Forgot how sexually active our VDSM was in her youth. A dancer at the local strip club. Gangbanged in the bathroom at her high school prom. A threesome with her sister and her boyfriend Tom.
Martin Garrix, Matisse & Sadko – Mistaken (ft. Alex Aris). As @nickbavolar has said for years, BPM Channel 51 best station on Sirius XM. Was bumping this in my dad’s Subaru over the weekend (surprisingly killer speaker system).
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Paris Hilton, Ariel Vromen – Best Friend’s Ass. Full disclosure: this song is awful. Absolute trash. Like, if my fraternity still hazes pledges with 24hr confinement, this song on repeat would be State’s Exhibit A for cruel and unusual. But lest we get too snooty, sometimes it’s important to spin a garbage track (think Paris Hilton attempts #SELFIE) to appreciate all the good in our world.
