You Turn My 6s to 9s
14 tracks on the Better Spins playlist this week. Some highlights
- Kasbo – Places We Don’t Know (ford. remix). Some remixes put a little spin on the original but ford. completely dissects the core components and reconstructs them into something that feels entirely new. This bromance is for real.

- Clark – Winter Linn. As Aaron described it: “i guess glitchy ambient? i dunno, but this ‘genre’ is my shiiiit”
- Bronze Whale – Drive (Libations & Oscillations remix). The middle of the Venn diagram between Glitch Mob and The xx
- Arctic Monkeys – Fake Tales of San Francisco. If you have a chance to listen to this on vinyl, you will not be disappointed.
- Papadosio – Find Your Cloud. They describe their sound as “space rock…a state of mind as much as it could be considered a genre.” Lots of jam band vibes to me.
- Uppermost – Imagine Reality. Honestly this feels more space rock than Papadosio, but I’ll let you be the judge of that.
Honorable Mentions
- Big Wild – 6’s to 9’s (ft. Rationale). Totally worth the 12:45am set time on Friday.

- Toby Keith – I Wanna Talk About Me. Highest compliment you can pay to a track is to sit in your car after you arrived at your destination to finish rocking out.
- MitiS – Touch (Original Mix). Sometimes you really just need to move your hips.
